Tom and I met in high school.
We got married August sixteenth, twenty-thirteen
From the first time I hopped in his car we just clicked. We had a relationship that was different.
From that day in October we were inseparable.
During a crazy snow storm he asked if he could kiss me. I blushingly said yes.
We continued to date throughout all of high school. We would secretly leave school early and eat lunch at Tom's house. We spent a lot of nights driving around in his "cool" car chatting until curfew. We read the whole Harry Potter series together. We spent hours upon hours working on his car in the garage.
Then came college. I still had another year of high school left.
Should we breakup? Should we try?
The answer was simple. We weren't willing to let go. So we stuck it out. It was easy.
I got accepted to the University of Utah. We lived the college life together. We went on adventures, had lots of library dates, stayed up way too late, began to find our niche in the world.
Things were serious. We knew we didn't want to live without each other.
On a rainy day in November Tom and I grabbed a coffee before our dinner date with his parents.
Little did I know it was soon to be one of the best days of my life.
